Rule 1b: Be reasonable with your language Posts not related to Pathfinder are subject to removal at the mods' discretion. I plan on "soloing" my second playthrough with a build like this to see how far I can take her.For everything about the Pathfinder Tabletop RPG! (Not administered by or affiliated with Paizo Publishing® in any way). Please try this and post a build if you think it will work. Only real downside my way is you don't get as High a BaB, BUT if you go Scoll Savant 10 and pump that UMD skill, you should be able to reliably buff yourself with Scrolls from other Classes (Cleric for example) to buff your Attack Bonus/Armor/ bunch of other uses too, and they will be cast as a level 10 caster level minimum (Scroll Savant feature). Problem I am having is whether to go 10 Wizard (Scroll Savant) and 7 or 8 Arcane Trickster or Wizard 1 or 8 and 10 Arcane Trickster so I can Sneak Attack with AoE spells for funzies. I've used a level 3 Eldritch Archer/level 17 Scroll Savant to Range Spell Strike the hell outta stuff, it SHOULD work for you in this build as well. Why not go: Vivi1/Eldritch Archer or Magus or Eldritch Scion 1 or 2 (which is used? The Spell Strike at level 2 or the Spell combat you get at level 1?)/Wizard (or sorcerer?) 8 or 7/Arcane Trickster 10 (keying off of the Wizard or Sorcerer class for level 8 to 9 spells!?! You can use ANY arcane spell (at least from Wizard/Sorc spell list) with Spell Combat ON to get the two different attacks in a round) if its the Spell Strike ability at level 2, the spells from Wizard or Sorcerer that you would use as a Magus/Eldritch Archer would still work too. I plan to do some more testing and write up a better guide soon. Magus spellcasting will work for the arcane trickster requirements. You can also just use a cantrip that does d3 damage in place of disintegrate and it turns that cantrip into a 10d6 + 1d3 bunch of damage of the cantrips damage type.Ī potential Bug is that 10 levels of Arcane trickster and 9 levels of magus allowed me the magus ability to pick 6 wizard spells to add to my spellbook as well, this allowed for some disgusting buff stacking liek vital sense and such.įor the sneak attack eligibility with Arcane Trickster take a 1 level splash of either rouge or vivisectionist (for mutagens) and use the feat that gives you your 2nd sneak damage dice. The real obscenity is that this work on my Arcane Archer buildtest when using present strike + Arcane Strike + Disintegrate for 10d6+10d6+16d6+bow damage for when you really want to ruin someones day (Math might be off as im writing this quickly before work) Prescient Strike from the magus uses your Arcane Pool to make an attack that denies Dex. How: Arcane spell strike with Arcane Trickster lets you use Sneak on both the spell hit and weapon attack when the opponent is denied their Dex bonus to AC What it does: Sneak attacks twice in a single turn at your highest BaB. Please don't break those either.Īfter messing around a little with a few potential builds and some save game editing to see if the ideas i have worked within the ruleset of the crpg i have found a build that is too juicy not to share.
